The Beginning
Every studio has a founding myth. Ours happens to be true — and it starts earlier than most.
Serena Heddell and Domenick J. Pastore became inseparable early — bonded by curiosity, creativity, and a shared drive to build things that didn't exist yet. That instinct never went away.
Serena pursued audio at Berklee College of Music while continuing to work in recording studios, developing a precision ear for sound, production, and brand. Domenick became a software engineer and a firefighter. Both ran toward the hardest problems in their fields.
They founded Synth Forge with one animating belief: that technology and creativity belong in the same room. Today, the studio serves clients across digital development, audio production, and everything in between — from fire department junior programs to independent recording artists.
Meet the Team
Serena is the creative engine of Synth Forge. With a focus in audio production and engineering, she leads the studio's creative direction, brand development, and all sound production work. Equal parts strategist and artist, she has built a reputation for bringing clarity to complexity — whether that's a brand identity, a mix, or a client's entire creative vision.
Her commitment to precision and her instinct for what makes a brand feel alive have been central to Synth Forge's growth from day one.
Domenick is the technical architect of Synth Forge. A self-driven software engineer with deep experience across full-stack web development, custom software, and digital systems, he brings the same precision to building platforms as he brings to the firehouse — focus, accountability, and the belief that doing it right always matters more than doing it fast.
His dual commitment to innovation and service reflects his belief that technology should be a force for good — not just a product.
